ONE | GT Construction Update

If you have passed by the ONE | GT site on Goring Avenue in recent weeks, you will have noticed construction is moving at pace. Some 1,700 cubic yards of concrete were cast in December and a further 1,500-2,000 cubic yards will have been poured this month as we see the completion of the foundation raft slab and construction of the basement walls and columns well underway, bringing the development one step closer to going vertical.

Further progress is being made with regards to the surrounding infrastructure. The ONE|GT development team has been working closely with the local utility providers to implement the rerouting of overhead services underground, making for a more aesthetically pleasing environment with the added safety of the utilities being protected in underground conduits in the event of storm force winds.

ONE|GT Boutique Hotel & Residences started selling in March last year and is now over 60% sold, brought to you by the same development team of the recently completed Harbour Walk. The project brings the perfect combination of iconic design and effortless living to Cayman’s capital.

The Cayman Islands Has Removed all Covid-19 Travel Restrictions

The Cayman Islands has now removed all Covid-19 travel restrictions!

Starting today, travelers will no longer need to show proof of vaccination, a negative test, or a travel declaration/ request in order to enter the Cayman Islands. All vaccinated and unvaccinated travellers are permitted to enter the Cayman Islands without the need of extra documentation or health-related steps due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

After 2.5 years of covid related restrictions, the Cayman Islands is satisfied that they can safely open the borders entirely and remove all limitations to travel into the country. This decision was aided by the fact that more than 92% of persons over the age of 5 years old have received at least two doses of the vaccine, according to the Cayman Islands Government.

This will undoubtedly result in a very positive high season for both the tourism and real estate industry.

ONE|GT hotel and residences breaks ground in George Town

ONE | GT, the highly anticipated George Town boutique hotel and residences, broke ground on Thursday, June 30 with a celebratory event attended by government leaders and various members of the business, hospitality and real estate brokerage communities and of course its developers. The CI$120 million project brings long-awaited contemporary living to the heart of the Cayman Islands, providing a new and exciting destination for work and life to  merge effortlessly, in addition to contributing substantial benefits to the local economy.
